Young Adult and College Ministry
Trinity has an active administrative role in Kutztown University’s Lutheran Centre, a ministry of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod. The Lutheran Centre includes housing for up to six students (all faiths are welcome) as well as the Student Food Pantry in cooperation with FRIEND, INC. Community Services.
Open Table Ministries
Current students and young adults (often alumni of KU) gather on Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM for a community meal, discussion, and prayer on a faith-related topic. All are welcome! Also, if you’d like to prepare a meal for one of the Wednesdays, just contact Seth Noggle.
KU Student Food Pantry
This vital ministry is offered in conjunction with Friend, Inc. Community Services. Food, beverages, personal and household supplies are made available to students in need. The pantry has hours on both Wednesday and Thursday when KU classes are in session. Each week, as many as 200 students come to the Food Pantry for assistance. Volunteer opportunities include stocking and checking in students during Pantry Open Hours. For more details contact Seth Noggle.
