Youth and Family Ministry
Good News Club (Sunday School)
The Good News Club for grades K-5 meets Sundays after worship. This provides a foundational biblical education for our youth.
Vacation Bible School
This free summer event is held for children ages Pre-K to 8th grade in conjunction with St. Paul’s UCC. This is a week long adventure where children can experience Bible dramas, story themed snacks, games, and crafts!
Youth Group
We offer two Youth Groups that meet regularly: Primary Youth Group (grades 1-7) and Secondary Youth Group (grades 8-12). These are opportunities to build community with age groups along with games and devotions. The devotional time provides a chance to understand how our faith applies to our lives outside the church, such as in school or at home. We also have big events for the youth and family. Please check the calendar for Youth Group events.
Service Projects
Service Projects help to give our youth a practical way to be the hands and feet of Jesus. The Youth Ministry strongly believes that as the Church, we’re called to be missionaries of truth at all ages. The service projects are done mostly within our local area. Whether it’s handing out Valentines to the elderly or helping out at our local food bank, we’re just trying to be more like Jesus, and love others.
Confirmation Class
We have two confirmation classes beginning at 6th grade that use a curriculum called Journey to Adulthood. This is an encompassing education that focuses on a child’s faith in all facets of their life with a focus on society, self, sexuality, and spirituality.
First Communion Instruction
Classes are offered as needed. Contact the Church office for more information.
